Most fascinating journeys are those when you leave the city behind. But cities are forever expanding, so where do cities end? Some end at the bank of the river or seashore. Kolkata has wetlands and swamps which decide the edge. Though most of them are getting encroached or filled but there are places when you suddenly find yourself at the edge – with new sky rises on one side of the canal and swamp/grassland on the other side of it.
