Cafe culture is growing and thriving in Kolkata. It has almost become a habit to take a long walk and unwind in a cafe. It gives a break from daily routine. Most of these cafes create a niche ambience and unique theme related to music, books or general positive vibes.

For past more than a year, ever since pandemic took over the world and routine, these cafes have offered a safe place to escape to after day long online work. They have been strong and resilient with best Covid protocols in place.

While the fear of another lockdown is looming large due to second wave, I just hope these cafes will face it with a chin-up ans survive yet again. After all many like me depend on them for their favourite cuppa of coffee.
